EAGE Stavanger Tech Talk: APA 2025

We're pleased to announce our upcoming Tech Talk, "Awards in Predefined Areas 2025 and Recent Trends in Exploration & Production on the Norwegian Continental Shelf", featuring Elin Aabø, APA Coordinator at The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.

Elin has a BSc in Library and Information Science and has worked in the NOD since 2003 in a variety of roles within information management, data management and IT-related projects. The last three years she has been a part of the APA-Coordinator team.

In this talk, Elin will provide an up-to-date overview of the APA 2025 round and share key insights into recent exploration and production trends on the NCS. Drawing on her central role in the APA process, the presentation will also introduce the Norwegian Offshore Directorate’s role as licensing authority, highlight current activity levels and strategic priorities and discuss how recent developments are shaping the future of exploration on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
