📢 Welcome to the team Scott, Francesco & Maria

We are BACK - and our team is growing!🌞

After a summer pause since our last event in April, the EAGE Local Chapter of Stavanger is back with renewed energy and a few new faces joining our team!

We are pleased to introduce 3 new members to the board:

👋(1/3) Scott Adamson our new 'Event and Outreach Officer'.

Scott is a Senior Reservoir Engineer with almost 10 years of experience in reservoir management, field development and production optimisation. Originally from Scotland, Scott is currently based in Stavanger, working for AkerBP where he supports reservoir management and development activities across the Alvheim Area.

Scott has authored and presented technical papers at EAGE conferences, with his most recent work selected for the 'Best of EAGE 2026' session at IMAGE 2026 in Houston. As a new member of the board, he is passionate about promoting cross discipline knowledge sharing, professional development and collaboration across the subsurface community.

👋(2/3) Francesco Lozza our new 'Event Manager'.

Originally from Italy, now based in Stavanger, Francesco is a Graduate Geoscientist at Vår Energi. He recently began his professional career in exploration geoscience, working on regional subsurface studies and seismic interpretation projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Passionate about geology, exploration and continuous learning, Francesco joined the board to engage with the wider geoscience community and help create opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional development and networking among students and young professionals.

👋(3/3) Maria Camila Manosalva our new 'University Relations Officer'.

Maria is a Geoscientist with a strong background in environmental conservation, soil surveying and public policy related to Earth Sciences. Currently pursuing a Master's in Energy, Reservoir & Earth Sciences at the University of Stavanger, Maria is increasingly focused on energy production and sustainability, with particular interests in subsurface interpretation, reservoir characterisation and geological modelling.

💌We would also like to say a fond farewell to two members of our board, Luiz Pipa and Kushboo Haveila, who are relocating to Oslo to take on new positions.

Luiz and Kushboo have both made valuable contributions to the chapter and we are incredibly grateful for all the time, energy and enthusiasm they have brought to the board. THANK YOU both for everything you have done for EAGE Stavanger and we wish you the very best of luck in your new roles!💫

Welcome to Scott, Francesco and Maria - we are so excited to have you joining us and look foward to everything we will accomplish together!

...and for our members, keep your eyes peeled as we get ready to kick off a new season of EAGE Stavanger events!👀

Sincerely,

EAGE Local Chapter of Stavanger✨
